Download Office 2016

  1. Go to https://portal.office.com/.
  2. Sign in with your work or school account.
  3. Select Install Office 2016.

Upload files to OneDrive for Business

  1. Sign in to https://portal.office.com/
  2. Choose OneDrive in the Office Online app launcher.
  3. Choose Upload. Choose Files or Folders.
  4. Choose Files or Folders.
  • Or drag and drop files onto the window.

Create and work on files online

  1. Sign in to https://portal.office.com/
  2. Choose OneDrive in the Office Online app launcher.
  3. Choose New and choose the type of file you would like to create.
    Or choose a file you have already created.
  4. Edit and add new content. Office online saves automatically.

Share files and folders

  1. Sign in to Office.com/signin.
  2. Choose OneDrive in the Office Online app launcher.
  3. Choose a file or folder.
  4. Choose Share link to send an email or Get link.

NOTE: You can also share the file directly from the Word, Excel, and PowerPoint desktop apps.

Collaborate

After you share a file from OneDrive for Business, you can work on that file together at the same time.

  • Open the file on your desktop, using Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.
