Work Offline
First Sync your Files Online
- Log onto portal.office.com
- Click Files
- Click Sync
- This will sync folders across all systems (phone, tablet, laptop, Desktop etc.)
Then work from your Desktop Application
- The files saved will update once its back online
- If you are unsure that it updated, click the Sync button through portal.office.com

Share Files
Share a File/Folder
Option 1
- Click the Share button
- Enter the person’s email and a message
- Specify if it is available to edit
- Click Send

- Click Copy Link
- Specify if it is editable or not
- Click on the Link displayed
- A checkmark will appear if it is copied properly
- Paste the link into any message or email desired
- Facebook, MSN, Emails, etc.
- Send it in its desired format

- Right-click the File or Folder
- Select Share
- Enter the name or email address and a message
- Specify if it is editable
- Click Send

Co-author a File
- Open the document on your computer
- Click File
- Click Info
- Click Add Author
- Type in the email or name
- Click the Address book icon to select from your address book
