The Basics
Create a New Notebook
- Click the My Notebook down arrow
- Click Add Notebook
- Log into your account
- Name it under Notebook Name
- Click the Create Notebook button
Create a New Section
Option 1
- Right click next to the tabs
- Select New Section
Option 2
- Click the in the tabs of the notebook
Create a New Page
Option 1
- Click in the Section you want it
- Press the + when it appears
Option 2
- Right Click where the pages are listed
- Select New Page
Option 3
- Ctrl + N
Create a Subpage
- Right-click the page
- Select Make Subpage
Open an Active Notebook
- Click the Notebook name down arrow
- Click Open Other Notebook
Add a Note
- Click anywhere in a Notebooks page
- Start typing
Reposition a Section, Page or Note
- Click and and drag
- Look for the cursor that has arrows going in 4 directions
Move or Copy a Section or Page
Option 1
- Right-click Page tab or Section
- select Move or Copy . . .
Option 2
- Select the page to copy or move
- Press Ctrl + Alt + M on the keyboard
Print a Page
- Click File
- Select Print
- Go through options
Delete a Note
Option 1
- Select the note
- Press Delete

- Right click on the note
- Select the Delete button

- Click File
- Select Export
- Make the selection and follow the prompts

Store a Notebook in a Different Location
- Right-click the Notebook name
- Click properties
- Click Change Location
- Log in with your Credentials
- Browse for a Location
- Click the Select button

Creating a Task
Option 1
- Click the Home tab
- Click Outlook Tasks
- Make a selection
- Today (Ctrl + Shift + 1)
- Tomorrow (Ctrl + Shift + 2)
- This Week (Ctrl + Shift + 3)
- Next Week (Ctrl + Shift + 4)
- No Date (Ctrl + Shift + 5)
- Custom (Ctrl + Shift + K)
Option 2
- Right click
- Select Task button
Marking a Task as Complete
- Click the Flag icon next to the task
- It will change to a Check Mark
Delete a Task
Option 1
- Right click the Flag
- Select Delete Outlook Tasks

- Click the Outlook Tasks button
- Click Delete Outlook Tasks
Remove a Tag
- Right click the Flag
- Select Remove Tag

- Select the Page you want to attach a file
- Click the Insert tab
- Click File Printout in the Files group
- Click Insert button once the appropriate file is selected

- Click File Attachment in the Files group
- Click Insert button once the appropriate file is selected

Applying a Tag
- Click the Home tab
- Select the preferred tag in the options
View Tag

Remove a Tag
- Right-click the tagged note
- select Remove Tag
Modify a Tag
- Right-click Tag
- Select Customize Tag
- Click Modify Tag…
- Create, or change tags
- when done click OK
Create your own Tag
- Right-click Tag
- Select Customize Tag
- Click New Tag…
- Change the Display Name for the Tag
- Pick a Symbol, Font Color, Highlight Color
- When done click OK
- Click Ok on the second dialog box
Create a Summary of Tags

- Click Find Tags in the Home tab
- Select Create Summary Page
