Join Our Team

This team of students gain valuable experience in their field while attending classes on a full-time basis. Our students work during their free time in-between classes and at night until 7:30 pm. Assisting staff and students with their account and other technical related issues. The real-life experiences gained on this team give these students a decided advantage when seeking employment after graduation.

 Students must be enrolled full-time to qualify for on campus employment.

The positions offer to the students include:

  • Lab Monitors – Maintaining the toner and paper in the lab printers. Assist students with the operation of the printers and document scanners.
  • Helpdesk Agents – provide technical support in person and via phone to staff and students both off and on campus.
  • Hardware Technicians – Perform hardware repairs, and reimaging all college supplied desktop and laptops computers.
  • Audio Visual Technicians – Supporting TV’s, Projectors, and audio equipment throughout the college.

Scheduling & Attendance

Schedules will be, where applicable, set for an entire term. Work hours are scheduled between 8:30 AM and 7:30 PM, Mon-Thu and between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM on Friday.

Team members are expected to report to work for all scheduled hours unless prior arrangements have been approved, or medical emergencies arise.

Team members must attend at least 75% of team meetings held throughout the academic year as well as learning and information sharing sessions.

Training

New team members are provided with hands-on training. Team meetings and group learning sessions will be scheduled as needed.

Senior students are expected to mentor junior students.

Team members are expected to review all documents and procedures located within the ITS website.
